The easiest way to go directly to Magnolia Beach:

COMING INTO VICTORIA ON US HWY 87 FROM CUERO:

Upon reducing speed and approaching the "Loop" (which is not marked as such at this point but will become Loop 463) Take US HWY 77 NORTH (which will place you onto Loop 463 avoiding downtown Victoria) and continue on 77 North which will then become Loop 463. DO NOT EXIT ON 77 NORTH ONCE ON LOOP 463. See directions below from this point.

COMING IN TO VICTORIA ON US HWY 77 SOUTH FROM FLATONIA/SCHULENBURG:

As you approach Loop 463, go under the overpass (just past Victoria Mall) and take a left onto Loop 463. Travel South until the Loop ends at US HWY 59. (Do not be fooled by US HWY 59 Business Exit. Go another mile or so until you see US HWY 59 to Houston and US HWY 87.

Take a right onto US HWY 59 (South) and go 3 miles to the US HWY 87 exit to Port Lavaca. Take a right onto US HWY 87 heading East out of Victoria.

The most direct route to Magnolia Beach is to travel on US HWY 87 for 19 miles until you see FM 2433. Take a right onto FM 2433 and go 2.5 miles where you will cross over State Hwy 35 and continue straight on FM 2433 for 1.5 miles where FM 2433 will "T" into State Highway 238. (There will be a VFW Hall with a helicopter on your right at this intersection)

Take a right on State Hwy 238. (You will begin to see road signs indicating you are on your way to Magnolia Beach at this point). 1.3 miles later there is a blinking light at an intersection, but continue straight ahead. State Hwy 238 will veer off to the right to Port O'Connor and Seadrift but the road is now State Hwy 316.

From this point you will pass the turn off to Alamo Beach and a several miles later you will see a sign pointing to the left that says "MAGNOLIA" (Why it doesn't say "BEACH" I will never know.) Make a left hand turn.

Both HEB grocery and Wal-Mart are located on State Hwy 35 in Port Lavaca.

As you drive into town, the J and T One Stop (Convenience Store) will be on the right hand side of the road. If you are going to Magnolia Cottage (#25) or Gardenia Cottage (#43), Sally Street will be 1 block past the convenience store on your left. If you are going to Eagle's Nest (#11 Chumley Drive) it is located three blocks past the convenience store on your right at the corner of Margie Tewmey Street *** (which you are now driving on). Look for the 4' X 4' Eagle's Nest sign in the yard on your right hand side.



I know these directions may seem confusing when read but they are really very simple to follow and this route will take you directly to Magnolia Beach with the fewest turns.
